| Happy August everyone. Damn...school is already coming...dont you just hate that? Anyhow, much to talk about. My sister made it to the high school soccer team...good for her...and congrats to whoever else made it...lot of people tried out, not a lot made it ^^;
Still been playing the same games lately: Final Fantasy XI, Battlefield 2, Warcaraft III, and working on Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time. On Battlefield 2 and Warcraft III I go by the name of Evil_Monkeys. Dare to challange the monkeys? Because their evil, with their fangs and all!
Anyways, I know I am late to discuss this but the "Hot Coffee" mod for GTA has caused much commotion. I believe that even without the mod the series deserved an Adults Only rating, just so stupid parents would stop buying it for their kids. Now Im not saying that if your parents bought the game for you they are stupid. I am just saying that when parents buy things for their children and they do not know what it is. To make matters worse...GTA pretty much lied about the mod claiming hackers placed it into the game. Of course that does not explain why it is in the playstation version...oh well. Lets just hope they dont ban games....have a nice day everyone. | | |
| Hello my peeps. Hope everyone is having as great as a summer as I am...if not better! I just love waking up at 3:30 in the afternoon and having a bowl of ice cream for breafast/lunch. Not much else to say....been playing battlefield 2, some battlenet with Warcraft 3...and FFXI. Hm...oh...and I hooked up me N64 again...those zelda games...wow...they just so damn good....well keep having a good summer everyone! | | |
| Well school has been out for a while...still not sure what me grades are. Anyhow! summer has been lazy and relaxful as ever. not sure what else to say...hm... Oh I saw the batman movie! great movie, my faith in batman has been reborn. Hope everyone is having a good summer. Not sure what else to say. Happy 4th of July everyone. | Tomorrow is the countdown to the end of school. 23 days total till school is over. Horay! I just need to do decent on my finals and might be able to pull of a 4.0 GPA if im very very lucky. As of right now i can either pull off all B's, all A's or anything in between. Anyhow, I have quite a lot of work to do. I have a pursuasive essay due in two days....gonna be a pain in the butt to do. Seeing how I haven't started yet ^^;.
Not much to say, saw "Kicking and Screaming" yesterday. Pretty decent movie. More of a family movie but still has some good comedy in it. Well, I guess its time for me to do homework. Have a good week everyone! | | |
| Not much has happened in the last week or two...school has been the same, grades have stayed the same, games are the same. Can't really complain or boast about anything at the moment...so I guess so far so good.
Only thing different is I'm grounded. Not for grades, not for doing anything bad (in my opinion), but for speaking my voice. Ever since...heck, i would say 5th grade, my dad has pretty much called me anything he pleased. Any curse word he wishes to say, he would say it. I couldn't argue. I couldn't complain. It was just something he has always done. So when I call my dad an asshole, why is he such a hypocrite and grounds me? Perhaps because he believes he did not deserve to be called that. Perhaps he believes he is better then me. I don't know. All i know is now I am grounded until I apologize. Will I apologize? Of course not. Call me thick headed. Call me stupid. But frankly, I believe that even a son or daughter must stand up to their parents when they believe something isnt fair. I know that many people are much worst off then me, and many would die to just have such a simple arguement. I just believe that after 16 years of not standing up and voicing my opinion once against him is far too long. It isnt anything too serious. There is no yelling, no arguing, no fighting (yet). Hopefully he will see sooner or later he is a hypocrite. If he doesnt, oh well, I just wanna see how far I can push his buttons.
On a better note, my chemistry class has moved. It is farther away from my next class but I don't mind. Only bad part is now we cant do any labs anymore because we are now in a portable. But the good news is, I got some free stuff! As my chem. teacher was getting rid of some stuff in his old room, he came upon quite a few books. He decided to give them away and I was able to walk away with two (a friend took one but decided he didnt want it). One book is 2,500 pages of pure chemistry and physics information. Hopefully I can put it to some sort of use in physics next year, and hopefully AP physics in senior year. The other book is only about 500 pages and consists of chemistry questions which I dont even understand. Dont know what I can do with it, but it sure does make me feel smart with it on my shelf. Amazingly the 500 pg book was printed in 1957. Yay for some free antique books!
Well enough ranting for now. I have some sleep to catch up on and some community service to do (which I probrably wont get credit for). Peace out everyone! Have a great weekend! | | |
